Troubleshoot login issues

Fix login problems and reset your password if needed.

The most common reason you can't log in to your account is using a different login method than you signed up with. Mob lets you sign in with email, Apple, or Google, but you must use the same method you originally used to create your account.

Check which login method you used:

  • Did you sign up with your email address?

  • Did you tap "Sign in with Apple"?

  • Did you tap "Sign in with Google"?

Try logging in with that same method. If you're not sure which one, try each one in turn (you won't be locked out for wrong attempts).

If you used "Sign in with Apple":

If you signed up using Apple's "Sign in with Apple" feature, you may have used Apple's Private Relay (Hide my email). This creates a hidden email address in the format [email protected] that Mob uses for your account.

To log back in, tap the Apple button on the login screen. You don't need to know your Private Relay email to sign in this way.

However, if you need to know which email address is associated with your account (for password resets, account changes, or support requests), see our guide here.

If you've forgotten your password:

If you signed up with email and can't remember your password, tap "Forgot password?" on the login screen and follow the steps. We've included more information on how this works here.

If you signed up with Apple or Google, you don't have a Mob password to reset.

Still stuck?

If you've tried all the above and still can't log in, please contact our customer support team, and include:

  • Your full name

  • The email address you believe is associated with your Mob account

  • Which login method you've tried (email, Apple, or Google)

  • What happens when you try to log in (error message, etc.)

  • Your billing postcode (this helps us locate your email if all else fails)
