Troubleshoot a failed payment

What to do if your payment card is declined when signing up for or renewing Mob Premium.

Common reasons your card might be declined

  • The card hasn't been activated yet (if it's new)

  • Your billing address on file is outdated or incorrect

  • You've moved house but haven't updated your address with your card issuer

  • The security code (CVV) is incorrect

  • Your card has expired / you're using an old card that's no longer valid

  • You don't have sufficient funds

How to fix it

  1. Check your card details: Make sure the card number, expiry date, and security code are all correct.

  2. Verify your billing address: Confirm that your billing address matches what your bank has on file for your card.

  3. Contact your bank: If you've recently moved or made other changes, call your bank to update your details.

  4. Try again: Once you've made the necessary changes, try making the payment again.

We can't see the details

Mob doesn't receive detailed information about why your card was declined. Your bank is the best source for specific information about payment failures.

If your card is still being declined after trying these steps, contact your bank directly. They can provide details about why the payment failed and help you resolve the issue.
