Why send us a screenshot or recording?
Screenshots and screen recordings help our team troubleshoot issues faster. They're especially useful for reporting bugs or unusual app behaviour.
Note: These instructions work for most newer devices, but may vary slightly depending on your device model and operating system version.

On iPhone
Open the screen you want to capture
Press and release the power button and volume-up button at the same time
A preview will appear in the bottom left corner
Find the screenshot in your Photos app
On Android
Open the screen you want to capture
Press the power button and volume-down button at the same time
A preview will appear in the bottom left corner
Find the screenshot in your Google Photos app > Library > Screenshots folder
đš Screen recordings
On iPhone
Open the screen where the issue occurs
Swipe down from the top right corner to open Control Center
Tap the record button - a 3-second countdown will appear
Replicate the issue
Tap the red status bar at the top, then select Stop
The recording saves automatically to your Photos app
Setup note: If you don't see the screen recording button, go to Settings > Control Center and tap the + next to Screen Recording.
On Android
Open the screen where the issue occurs
Swipe down from the top of your screen
Tap Screen record (you may need to swipe right or add it via the pencil icon)
Tap Start - a 3-second countdown will appear
Replicate the issue
Swipe down from the top and tap Stop
Find the recording in your Google Photos app > Library > Movies folder
