Understand charges after your free trial

How trial-to-paid conversion works, how to request a refund if you were charged unexpectedly, and how to cancel to avoid future charges.

How the free trial works

When you sign up for a free trial, your payment details are collected upfront but you won't be charged until the trial ends. The trial length and the price you'll be charged are shown clearly at checkout before you sign up.

At the end of the trial period, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan. If you signed up via the Mob website, we'll send you a reminder a few days before your trial ends (check your main inbox & spam). This gives you time to cancel if you'd like to.

Prevent unexpected charges:

We recommend cancelling at least 24 hours before your trial ends if you don't want to continue. Make a note of your trial end date when you sign up so it doesn't catch you off guard.

I want to cancel so I'm not charged again

Where you cancel depends on where you signed up. If you're not sure, check your phone's app subscriptions - if Mob isn't listed there, you signed up on the website.

⚠️ Mob is not able to cancel a subscription created via Apple App or Google Play stores.

I've been charged - how do I get a refund?

The process depends on where you signed up:

  • If you subscribed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:

Request a refund directly through your app store subscriptions. Refunds must be requested within 48 hours of purchase (or renewal). Apple and Google make the final decision on all refund requests - approval isn't guaranteed, and Mob cannot override their decision.

  • If you subscribed on the Mob website:

Contact our customer support team, and include:

    • The email address associated with your Mob account

    • Your billing postcode

    • Your reason for requesting a refund
