Why was I charged after my free trial?

What to know about how the trial-to-paid conversion works, and what to do if you've been charged unexpectedly.

When you sign up for a free trial, your payment details are collected upfront but you won't be charged until the trial ends. At the end of the trial period, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan — the length of the trial and the price you'll be charged are shown clearly at checkout before you sign up.

We recommend cancelling at least 24 hours before your trial ends if you don't want to continue, to make sure the cancellation processes in time. It's worth making a note of your trial end date when you sign up so it doesn't catch you off guard!
