Why was my card declined?

Help if your card has been declined when trying to make a payment

There are lots of different reasons that your card might have been declined, including expiration, outdated billing address, insufficient funds etc. If your card is declined while trying to sign up for Mob premium then please contact your bank for more details.

Some common reasons your card might be declined are:

  • If the card is new, make sure it’s been activated.

  • Check your billing address is the same as the one we have listed on your account

  • If you’ve recently moved, make sure your card issuer has your new address

  • Check the CVV on the back of your card is correct

  • You’ve got a new card and the one on file is the old one

We don’t usually get detailed information on payment failures from our payment provider, so your best bet if your card payment fails is to get in touch with your bank.
