How do I cancel auto-renew or stop a free trial?

Step-by-step guide to cancelling your subscription or free trial via web, iOS, or Android.

To cancel your subscription or free trial:

How you cancel your subscription will depend on whether you bought your subscription on the website or the app.

A good way to check this if you use the app and the website, or you're not sure where you signed up is to look at your app subscriptions on your phone - If you can't see Mob there, and your account is active, you signed up on the website.

If you signed up on the Mob website:

  1. Log in if you are not already logged in

  2. Scroll down and select Cancel Subscription

  3. Follow the steps to cancel - ensure you reach the final 'confirmation' screen to confirm you have cancelled

If you are not able to see this option or the button is greyed out, you may have either subscribed through the app (follow the instructions below) or you have an outstanding payment, in which case you will need to speak to an agent in order to process your request by emailing [email protected].

⚠ If you subscribed through the app, you must cancel via the App Store or Google Play, not the website or directly in the Mob app ⚠

If you signed up on the app:

  1. For iPhone:

    1. Open the App Store or go to your app subscriptions from your phone settings

    2. Locate your subscriptions

    3. Locate the Mob app

    4. Request to Cancel - If you wish to request a refund, you must request this through your app subscriptions directly

  2. For Android:

    1. Open the Google Play store or go to your Google Play subscriptions from your phone settings

    2. Locate your subscriptions

    3. Locate the Mob app

    4. Request to Cancel - If you wish to request a refund, you must request this through your app subscriptions directly

In order to make sure you don't get charged either at renewal or at the end of a free trial if you don't want to, we recommend that you cancel your subscription at the very least a few hours before the end of the current period, but ideally a minimum of 24hrs before.
